ITINERARY

Cochin to Munnar

    Our tour agent will meet you either at the train station or the airport terminal in Cochin, depending on your travel plans. The travel to Munnar takes a little under four hours. During your trip, enjoy the Cheyyara waterfall, the Kodanadu elephant care facility, the Valara waterfalls, the Attukadu waterfalls, spice farms, and more. Once you arrive, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing there.

Munnar sightseeing and tour

    On the very second day of your tour, enjoy the local attractions of Munnar. The Kannan Devan Tea Museum is a ‘must-visit’ spot for understanding the history and importance of the tea plant in this area of southern India. Munnar has a wonderful Antiques Museum that provides more than just a taste of prior colonial authority, as well as a nightly Tea Tour. If you can drag yourself away from the city, Mattupetty is a popular picnic destination with its famed Dam and peaceful waterways; you could even see an elephant. You may also go boating on the lake, rock climbing, and trekking.

Munnar to Thekkady/ Periyar

    On the 3rd day of your Kerala journey, you will check out of Munnar and head to Thekkady. Thekkady is a section of Periyar National Park known for the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Periyar covers 300 square kilometres and is home to elephants, deer, sambar, tigers, macaques, and bison. It was designated a tiger reserve in 1978. The Mullaperiyar Dam has a central lake along the Periyar River that, in addition to being a lovely sight, serves as a focal point for wildlife. In the evening, you may go on a boat trip on the lake and explore the nature. Enjoy Kerala's martial arts, kathakali, bamboo rafting, elephant rides, jeep safaris, nature walks, forest patrols, trekking, and ayurvedic massages. Thekkady will be your destination for the final night of your journey.

Thekkady to Cochin

    Start the day with South-Indian breakfast and bid a fond farewell to Cochin. A chauffeur-driven automobile will take you to Fort Kochi, a historic and intriguing settlement with strong colonial influences from the Dutch, British, and Portuguese from decades ago. Take in the fishing pier and witness the traditional technique of cantilevered Chinese fishing, termed for the exquisite design of the net, ropes, and pullies. St. Francis Church, India's oldest European church, is located near the dock and may easily be included in your schedule. After the local sightseeing and tour, our representative will drop you off at Cochin Airport/Railway Station/Bus Stand and provide any necessary assistance.
