ITINERARY

Gangtok: Arrival and day at leisure

After you arrive at the Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be met by the tour agent’s representative. Transfer to Gangtok via a scenic route, and on arrival check into your hotel. Relax for a while, since you have the remaining day at leisure as planned by this Gangtok tour itinerary. You can opt to check out the nearby local markets, and sample some of the local delicacies such as momos and thukpa. Return to the hotel for the night.

Gangtok: City tour and sightseeing spree

After a hearty buffet breakfast, it is time to leave for a day of sightseeing across and near Gangtok as per your Gangtok trip plan. The first stop on this tour is the Handicraft Centre, followed by a stop at the much famed Bakthang Falls. Also visit places such as Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, the Flower Show and Chorten Tibetology. You also get to visit MG Marg, where you can enjoy a spot of souvenir hunting and indulge your taste buds with the local tea and some scrumptious snacks. Return to the hotel after your day tour, and enjoy a night of complete relaxation.

Gangtok: Departure
